Statement of Doctrinal Beliefs

We Believe

     There is only one God eternally. Existing in 3 persons, the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. All equal in essence while distinct in personality and function. Matthew28:19; 1 Corinthians 8:6

      That God created the heavens and the Earth according to the Genesis account and that it was created in 6 literal, twenty four hour days. Genesis 1:1; Exodus 20:11; Colossians 1:16-17; Hebrews 11:3

​

      That Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that he was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and that he is in truth, God incarnate. John 1:1,14; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 7:14; Galatians 4:4

 

      That the Lord Jesus Christ died as the substitutionary sacrifice for all mankind and that his blood alone is the atonement that saves from sin. Isaiah 53:4-11; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 2:1-2; 1 Timothy 4:10

       In the literal bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, that he ascended back into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the father and that he serves as our only mediator, high priest, and advocate. Mathew 28:1-7; Acts 1:8-11; 1 Corinthians 15:4-9; 1 Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 John 2:1

      That man was created in the image of God and that man sinned, thereby incurring not only physical but spiritual death which was passed upon all men. Genesis 1:26-27, 3:1-6; Romans 5:12,19

​

      That all who repent and receive by faith, the lord Jesus is Christ as savior are born again and adopted into the family of God. Luke 24:46-47; John 1:12-13, 3:3-16; Acts 16:31, 20:21; Ephesians 2:8-9

 

      That the Holy Spirit is the agent of the new birth, that through conviction and regeneration, He indwells, seals, and baptizes every believer into the body of Christ at the moment of conversion and that the apostolic age has ceased along with the charismatic gifts and signs. Hebrews 1:1; John 16:7-11; Romans 8:1; Ephesians 1:13-14; 1 Corinthians 12:13

      That the true believer has ever lasting life that he is kept forever by the power of God and that a new creation is incurred by the new birth, giving evidence that he is a child of God. John 6:39,10:28-29; Romans 8:35-39; 2 Corinthians 5:17

​

      In the "blessed hope"- which is the personal, pre-millennial, pre-tribulational and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Titus 2:13; John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; James 5:9

​

      In the bodily resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust that the saved will be raised to everlasting life and the lost raised to everlasting punishment in the Lake of Fire created for the devil and his angels. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:11-15, 21:1-8

      That there are 2 ordinances of the New Testament Church, Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Baptism is to be by full immersion and is symbolic of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Lord's Supper is to be observed by believers who have acted in obedience to Christ's command to show forth his death till he come. Mathew 28:18-20; John 3:23; Acts 2:41, 8:36-39; 1 Corinthians 11:26

      That the 66 books of the old and new testament are the verbally inspired Words of God in its original language and therefore are inerrant and should be used as a guide in all Christian living. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21 

​

      In the pre-millennial and pre tribulational return of Christ to catch away (Rapture) true believers (His Church) before the wrath of God falls upon the earth. After this period of judgment, He will return with us to rule and reign over the Earth for 1000 literal years. A regeneration of the earth will follow ushering in eternity. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:2, 20:11-12, 21:1-6
